Spirits of the Dalish is a side quest in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
Acquisition[]
This quest is acquired by speaking to the Anxious Spirit on a shored boat in Ruins Reach in Arlathan Forest.
Walkthrough[]
Trouble befell a Dalish clan traveling through Arlathan Forest and their fates have left scars on the area.
Discover the fate of the Dalish clan[]
Find the clan's mementos that are scattered around the area.
- The first memento can be found on a body that was crushed underneath a giant boulder on a ledge close to the Ruins Reach fast travel point. The area can be recognized by the bodies of halla also having fallen victim.
- The second memento can be found among a group of wooden "statues" in the Shadowy Grove.
- The third memento can also be found in the Shadowy Grove by a broken eluvian.
- The fourth memento can be found on a charred body in a broken aravel in the water in the Ancient Aquaduct.
- The fifth memento can be found in the Riverside Ruins on some bodies in a blocked off cave accessed by triggering a fade tear.
Return and speak to the Anxious Spirit to find its worries have not been addressed. Head North and move the resonant slab of rocks using Eternal Hymn (Harding's ability) to access a small area, then climb up the stones and interact with the artifact to cause a portal to appear. Jump through the portal and place the mementos on the altar.

Something has happened to a Dalish clan in Arlathan Forest. Rook and the crew explore the area to find out what happened.
A Dalish clan met a horrific fate due to the strange magic in Arlathan Forest. The pain of their passing overwhelmed a Fade spirit, which kept it trapped in the lingering emotions. Rook discovered the truth of what happened, performing a funerary ritual, and allowed the spirit to find peace.
