Description

Briefly during the Glory Age, the Nahashin Marshes were a kingdom under Lord Roux Marchette, who declared that Val Royeaux rule—always tentative at best—was over. While Orlais warred with the Elves, the marshes were left alone, but once attention turned to putting down the rebellion, forays were hard-put to even find their opponents. "King Roux" is a legend among the marshfolk, who portray him wielding a mighty axe against an Orlesian knight.
