The collection triggers upon the Inquisitor's arrival at Skyhold. However, decor cannot immediately be changed as the fortress is in a state of disrepair. Decor customizations are unlocked after completing the main quest Here Lies the Abyss or Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts.
In order to complete the collection the following six decors must be acquired.

Decor bearing distinctive Fereldan elements.
- Orlesian Decor
Decor with traditional Orlesian designs.
- Chantry Decor
Decor bearing the holy emblems of the Andrastian Chantry.
- Free Marcher Decor
Decor from the Free Marcher states.
- Tevinter Decor
Decor from the Tevinter Imperium, emblazoned with striking Tevinter symbols.
Non-Collection Decor Edit
The following four decors can be acquired with the addition of downloadable content:
- Avvar Decor
Decor featuring Avvar elements.
- Jaws of Hakkon
- Frostback Basin Decor
Decor featuring tribal elements from the Frostback Basin.
- Spoils of the Avvar
- Par Vollen Decor
Decor designed with distinctive Par Vollen elements.
- Spoils of the Qunari
- Dragon Decor
Decor made from a high dragon.
- Dragon Age: Inquisition - Multiplayer
- Certain decors may be synchronized across playthroughs using the Golden Nug.
Codex entries Edit
- The following codex entries can only be obtained by selecting Ferelden decor and examining statues in the hall:
- If the Orlesian Decor is selected, the statues outside the main entrance leading into the hall can be examined for a note from Gatsi Sturhald; however, no codex entry is unlocked.
