Silence on the Plains is a side quest in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Leliana is concerned about a lack of information coming out of the Exalted Plains after both Gaspard and Celene's troops retreated to their respective camps. There were rumblings of desertions, and since then, only silence. Both Leliana and Cullen agree that whatever's going on here warrants further investigation.
Acquisition[]
Obtained upon reaching Skyhold at the end of the main quest In Your Heart Shall Burn. It serves as an introduction to the Exalted Plains, and opens up the region for exploration.

Complete the war table operation Investigate the Exalted Plains, which costs 8 Power to complete, to unlock the new area.
