- The "+100% maximum guard" in the description refers to 100% of the base guard amount (i.e. 25% of maximum health), and stacks with other passives that boost maximum guard.
- While this sigil is in use:
- Barrier, Guardian Spirit, Fortifying Blast, Transmute Magic and Fade Shield no longer generate any barrier
- Amulet of Barrier, Enhanced Amulet of Barrier and Superb Amulet of Barrier override the wearer's maximum barrier despite the "-100% maximum barrier" effect, allowing these amulets to still generate barrier
