Sigil of Lyrium is a sigil from the Trespasser DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Rare random loot.
Rewarded upon completing To Serve Any Master war table operation.
Part of the hidden treasure revealed during Map of Elgar'nan's Bastion in the Emerald Graves.

While the sigil increases maximum Barrier by 50%, the extra amount does not contribute to calculation in Barrier regeneration from Knight Enchanter's Fade Shield passive. Given the fact that Barrier decays at a fixed rate regardless of its full amount, it actually imposes extra pressure on characters in maintaining Barrier strength. Other methods that increases maximum Barrier, apart from increases in base weapon damage, for instance Strength of Spirits and Enhanced Barrier Ring, will have the same consequence.
