Shianni is the cousin of the City Elf Warden. She is one of the bridesmaids at his/her wedding as well.
Involvement
Shianni is the one who wakes up The Warden at their start of the origin, reminding her that today is her wedding day (only if playing as a female City Elf). Shianni is later seen getting into trouble with the son of the Arl of Denerim, Vaughan. She gets herself into more trouble by knocking out Vaughan with a wine bottle. When Vaughan and his friends later disrupt the future Warden's wedding and kidnap all the women, Shianni is among those kidnapped. She is later seen in a room with Vaughan and his friends, who presumably are brutalizing and attempting to rape her. If you choose to slay Vaughan and his men Shianni goes into a state of shock, presumably from a combination of her sexual assault and the deaths she witnesses.
In a much later quest, Shianni is a main point of contact when the Warden goes into the elven alienage to investigate a mysterious plague that has recently spread there. She being one of the few within the alienage that believes foul play to be involved with the so called "quarantine".
She is also the specter that appears to the Warden character within the "Gauntlet" portion of the quest when the party goes to discover to Urn of Sacred Ashes. If that particular player character is of the city elf origin.
The Imperium Ring called Dawn is given as thanks by Shianni in the Elven Alienage in Denerim during The Final Battle. The second Imperium Ring called Dusk can be acquired in Brecilian Forest.
