Shards in the Emprise is a shard collection in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Search for any shards scattered around Emprise du Lion.

Acquisition

Obtained by interacting with either of the two oculara in the region.

Walkthrough

Interact with two oculara, and collect the 13 shards revealed. The ocularum are found in the following locations:

• At the top of Judicael's Ring across Judicael's Crossing behind the Kaltenzahn high dragon. (7 shards)
• At the Tower Camp, on the second floor scaffolding of the Tower of Bones (turn right at the top of the ladder). (6 shards).

Rewards

Collecting all 13 shards yields:

• Influence 500

Results

Collecting shards enables the Inquisitor to complete the following six side quests in the Forbidden Oasis:

• The Temple of Pride (Requires 6 shards)
• Shard Collector
• The Cold Endured (Requires 6 + 12 + 18 = 36 shards)
• The Fire Captured (Requires 6 + 12 + 18 = 36 shards)
• The Spirit Calmed (Requires 6 + 12 + 18 = 36 shards)
• A Prideful Place

With the installation of the Jaws of Hakkon DLC an additional side quest can be completed:

• The Mystery of Winter (Requires 12 shards)

Bugs

• The Tower Camp Ocularum can glitch and only show 5 of 6 shards. Saving and reloading should reveal the final shard location.
