Shard Collector is a side quest in Dragon Age: Inquisition. It serves as an introduction to the Forbidden Oasis as a new questing area.
A strange shard has been discovered. It appears to be of ancient origin and may be part of a larger set. Further study could reveal more.

Triggers when the Inquisitor finds their first shard.
Walkthrough Edit
The quest requires that you first complete the war table operation Investigate the Shards which costs 4 Power.
Once that is done, travel to the Forbidden Oasis where you will meet with Scout Harding. This completes the quest.
