At the end of the passage there is a cutscene and you find out that the [[Maiden in Distress]] is really a [[Hunger Daemon]] that lured you there, but the battle is fairly easy. With a decently well setup group it is possible to take out the [[Hunger Daemon]] before the Undead she calls as reinforcements do any real damage, and then it is easy enough to finish them off. With high enough Coercion you can intimidate the Hunger Daemon into not fighting at all (Xbox).

To continue, go back and take the other path that wasn't taken before, kill some more Undead (some are hiding in closed coffins) and continue to the alternate way back to the [[Blackmarsh]]. (still [[the Fade]] version)
