Search Mines in Gamordan Peaks is a war table operation in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Acquisition[]

Available after completing war table operation Drive Darkspawn from Val Gamord with Josephine.

Operation text[]

The darkspawn have withdrawn completely into the mines from which they originally came. As I said in my previous letter, the mines show signs of recent maintenance. Someone was searching for something.

It may be worth investigating the mines, but I am concerned about our ability to navigate the tunnels without alerting the darkspawn.

I await your orders.

Lieutenant Suzanne Cloche-sec

Advisor suggestions[]

Note: The time listed is the time it takes with no agents.

Josephine - N/A[]

Not participating in this mission.

Leliana - 3:12:00[]

My contacts in the Carta can get in and out of those mines without alerting the Darkspawn.

Cullen - 4:00:00[]

Fighting in the tunnels is ugly work, but this is the cleanest way to investigate them.

Results[]

Leliana[]

Nightingale,

We were lucky, most of the darkspawn had withdrawn by the time my team ventured into the mines and these surface runts are nowhere near as tough as what I used to fight back in Orzammar. We avoided most of them and killed the ones we had to. In the process we found what the human miners must have been looking for. Sent it your way, hope it was worth the effort.

Never thought I'd be ready to see the sky over my head instead of honest stone, but I'd forgotten how much darkspawn stink. Thank you for helping me remember.

Sister Leliana,

I regret to inform you that the Inquisition force sent into the mines near Val Gamord has not returned. Scouts ventured close to the mines but saw no sign of survivors. They must be assumed dead.

Your servant,
Sister Anjean
