Ruins of Heidrun Thaig is the 3rd level in the Descent DLC.
Background
The thaig was built before the First Blight.[1] It was dedicated to Paragon Heidrun the Deep whose remains are entombed under a massive stone statue in the center of the thaig.[2] It was a lyrium mining location, but an "incident" involving "creatures that wear the faces of the dead" disturbed the operations and warranted direct intervention of the king and his troops.[1]
Centuries later members of the Legion of the Dead encountered a rock wraith in an old mine shaft near the thaig.[3]

Trivia
- The Heidrun Thaig has two types of statues, and both of them can be found in the Primeval Thaig. The spiky statues are also similar to the Claws of Dumat in the Fade, while the winged statues also adorn the Lost Outpost beneath Crestwood.
