Rifts on the Outskirts is a side quest in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Active Fade rifts have been spotted on the Outskirts and along Redcliffe Road.
Acquisition[]
Automatically obtained when the Inquisitor first enters the Hinterlands.
Walkthrough[]
Close both fade rifts to complete the quest:
1. North of the Outskirts Inquisition Camp, next to a ruined tower:
- Level 4-7
- Wave 1: Lesser Terror (1), Lesser Shade (2), Wraith (3)
- Wave 2: Lesser Terror (3), Lesser Shade (1), Wraith (2)
2. South of the Outskirts Inquisition Camp (north of Widow Maura's cabin):
- Level 4-7
- Wave 1: Wraith (4)
- Wave 2: Wraith (6)
Rewards[]
Closing each rift yields:
- 177 XP
- Influence 80
- Power 1
There are no additional rewards for completing the quest.

- Enemy levels for all rifts will scale to the party's average level, within a certain range.
