Rifts off the Pass is a side quest in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Active Fade rifts have been spotted in the Wastes, Iska's Stand, and at Dustytop Fort.

Acquisition

The quest is acquired when claiming the Nazaire's Pass Inquisition Camp in the Western Approach. Although the quest description implies that there are three different Fade rifts, only two actually exist; there is no rift in the Wastes.

Walkthrough

Close all fade rifts to complete the quest. Enemies scale to the party's average level, but within a certain range. The fade rifts spawn two waves of demons, but the exact type of demons spawned may vary. The rifts can be found in the following locations:

1. West of the Nazaire's Pass Camp

• Enemy levels 8-11
• Option 1:
  • Wave 1: Shade (1), Wraith (4)
  • Wave 2: Rage demon (1), Wraith (5)
• Option 2:
  • Wave 1: Terror demon (1), Rage demon (1), Wraith (2)
  • Wave 2: Terror (2), Rage demon (2), Wraith (2)
• Option 3:
  • Wave 1: Wraith (1), Shade (4)
  • Wave 1: Rage demon (1), Shade (5)

2. South of the Nazaire's Pass Camp, at Dustytop Fort

Note: A Grey Warden sword can be found nearby for Blackwall's quest Memories of the Grey, as can a bottle for the collection.

Closing rift 1 yields:

• 512 XP
• Influence 200
• Power 2

Closing rift 2 yields:

• 967 XP
• Influence 200
• Power 2

There are no additional rewards for completing the quest.
