Rifts in the Old Plains is a side quest in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Active Fade rifts have been spotted in Enavuris and Halin'sulahn, as well as near the Ancient Bathhouse.

Acquisition

Automatically obtained when the Inquisitor first enters the Exalted Plains.

Walkthrough

Close all rifts to complete the quest. Enemy levels for all rifts will scale to the party's average level within a certain range. The rifts can be found in the following locations:

1. Southwest of the Path of Flame Inquisition Camp

• Level 8-11
  • Wave 1: Rage Demon (1), Wraith (2)
  • Wave 2: Rage Demon (1), Corpse (2), Wraith (3)

2. Further southwest of the Path of Flame Inquisition Camp, near the river bed

• Level 8-11
  • Wave 1: Rage Demon (1), Terror (1)
  • Wave 2: Rage Demon (1), Terror (3)

3. In the Ancient Baths of Halin'sulahn, west of the Dalish Encampment

• Level 8-11
  • Wave 1: Rage Demon (1), Wraith (2)
  • Wave 2: Rage Demon (1), Shade (2), Wraith (3)

Note: There is an Invasion mosaic piece near the rift, on a dock outside the ruined windows.

4. Northwest of the Path of Flame Inquisition Camp and southwest of the Riverwatch Inquisition Camp

• Level 12-15
  • Wave 1: Terror (2), Corpse (4)
  • Wave 2: Revenant (1), Arcane Horror (1), Terror (2)

Note: There is a Red Jenny's Cache near the rift, next to one of the sunken arches.

Closing rift 2 yields:

• 512 XP

Closing rift 3 yields:

• 512 XP
• Influence 200
• Power 2

Closing rift 4 yields:

There are no additional rewards for completing the quest.
