Rifts at Drakon's Cleft is a side quest in Dragon Age: Inquisition
Active Fade rifts have been spotted around Drakon's Rise.
Acquisition[]
Acquired when the Inquisitor establishes the Drakon's Rise Inquisition Camp in Emprise du Lion.
Walkthrough[]
Close all rifts to complete the quest. Enemy levels for all rifts will scale to the party's average level within a certain range. The fade rift spawns two waves of demons, but the exact type of demons spawned may vary.
The rifts can be found in the following locations:
1. East and a little south of the Drakon's Rise Inquisition Camp
- Enemy levels 16-19
- Option 1:
- Wave 1: Pride demon (1), Rage demon (1)
- Wave 2: Pride demon (1), Rage demon (1), Wraith (4)
- Option 2:
- Wave 1: Greater Shade (6)
- Wave 2: Greater Terror (2), Greater Shade (4)
- Option 3:
- Wave 1: Despair demon (1), Wraith (5)
- Wave 2: Despair demon (3), Wraith (3)
- Option 4:
- Wave 1: Greater Terror (3)
- Wave 2: Pride demon (2), Greater Terror (1)
2. Northeast of the Drakon's Rise Inquisition Camp, past Valeska's Watch
Note: If approaching from Valeska's Watch, the camp with a note next to a dead elf that begins the quest Ruined Blade is just past the rift, down the rocks to the left.

Rewards[]
Closing each rift yields:
- 1,324 XP
- Influence 600
- Power 2
There are no additional rewards for completing the quest.

The rift always drops:
- One
Pure Frost Essence, 
Pure Fire Essence, 
Pure Lightning Essence, or 
Pure Spirit Essence x 1-2 - One type of tier 3 metal x ~12 (or) a piece of random loot.
