The Revered Mother is a member of the Orlesian Chantry. She can be found talking with Josephine Montilyet while in Skyhold.
Involvement[]
After The Inquisitor returns to Skyhold from the Winter Palace, the Revered Mother can be found in the courtyard with Josephine, insisting on having Leliana and Cassandra return to Val Royeaux as quickly as possible to attend ceremonies and ordinations. Josephine says that currently it's not possible for the other women to return, but she will attend to the matter as soon as possible. When she notices the Inquisitor, the Revered Mother asks to speak with them. She tells them that the end of the political turmoil has turned the Chantry to a single purpose: choosing the next Divine. She insists that it cannot be done without the Left and Right Hands of Justinia V. Josephine reiterates that Leliana and Cassandra cannot be spared from their duties, a statement that the Revered Mother meets with skepticism.
When the Inquisitor presses for more answers, they learn that Leliana and Cassandra stand as possible candidates to be the next Divine. The Revered Mother goes on to explain that while they aren't candidates yet, the Chantry needs them to be as they may be able to rally the clerics and gain a consensus of votes. She also explains there is precedent for those outside the clergy being chosen as Divine to break a deadlock.
Whatever the Inquisitor replies with, the Revered Mother will push for Leliana and Cassandra to be sent to Val Royeaux. Josephine then interjects, excusing herself and the Inquisitor from the conversation. The Revered Mother bows and leaves, presumably returning to Val Royeaux.
