Retaliation is one of Aveline's talent from her unique Guardian specialization in Dragon Age II.

Physical damage: 0.5x base damage per counterattack

Retaliation now lasts longer and inflicts more damage with each counterattack.

Physical damage: +0.5x base damage per counterattack (total: 1x)
Duration: +5s (total: 15s)

Notes

{Possible bug} Though the description doesn't state it, Retaliation will automatically deactivate Immovable. Activating Immovable after Retaliation, however, allows both to be used at the same time until Retaliation wears off.
Retaliation's damage applies to enemies instantaneously, making it useful to bypass Immovable's attack speed-crippling effects (which in turn reduce Aveline's DPS).
