Research Supplies are plot items in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
Background
The first supply to be found bears this label.
The research supplies are property of the University of Orlais' Professor Frederic, whose assistants used them for research on dragons in the Western Approach.
Acquisition
They can be found by examining a dead body and some remains around a broken wagon in the Canyons, shortly south of the entrances to the Forgotten and the Sand Rock Mine in the Western Approach, and as loot from White Claw Raiders.
As plot items they don't appear in the player's inventory.
Quests
The first to be found will start the quest Draconology, while the rest has to be acquired for Frederic's Livelihood.
