Regeneration is a mage spell from the Creation tree in Dragon Age: Origins.
Information[]
- Health Regeneration (exploration and combat): (100.0 + Spellpower) * 0.2 per tick for 10s.
- Range: 25m.
- Conjuration time: 1s.
Notes[]
- Activation base is in Mana and values vary with fatigue%.
- The healing amount is calculated when the spell is cast. This amount is divided into 5 healing ticks and the regeneration rate of the target is modified for 10s. Because in combat health regen is capped at 20 per tick and the duration is fixed at 10, should always heal 100 total health. - regen ticks once per 2 seconds
- Even at 0 spellpower, this spell maxes out combat health regeneration which is capped at 20. Because of this, this spell gains little to no benefit from spellpower, unless the target is under heavy health regeneration penalty (e.g. when having Aura of Pain and Blood Frenzy active at the same time), or the player is looking to boost out-of-combat health regeneration.
- Blood Magic does not reduce this healing (or any passive health regen like from Lifegiver) AT ALL. As noted on the regeneration page. can give a blood mage self casting it continuous free health because it heals far more than it costs to cast. Further in awakening imported characters will get it half cost with blood magic (due to the imported characters taking only half friendly fire damage effect) and can use the Stoic passive from battle mage and gain half the spells final health cost in free mana too. also bypasses Curse of Mortality.
- Arcane Warrior Spellcasting: The spell can be cast with your weapon(s) drawn.
