- For recipes in other games, see Recipes (Origins) and Recipes (Dragon Age II).
Recipes are documented methods or instructions that allow the Inquisitor to craft alchemical items. Recipes can be either bought at merchants or looted in various locations. Certain recipes may be synchronized across playthroughs using the Golden Nug.

Note: The Healing Potion is an anomaly in that it doesn't require a recipe. The Inquisitor is given healing potions by Cassandra in the prologue. From that point on, the potions are restocked automatically when the Inquisitor returns to a player base or an Inquisition camp. Healing Potions have no cost in terms of herbs.

Bugs[]
- If a recipe is found, synchronized with the Golden Nug, synchronized into inventory on a later playthrough and then found again, the recipe will appear duplicated in the inventory.
