A quest board is a location (or locations) where the Warden or the Warden-Commander can accept various quests on behalf of different organizations.

The Blackstone Irregulars

The Irregulars' boards are in the following locations:

Denerim Market District, in the Gnawed Noble Tavern.
Redcliffe Village, in front of the Chantry.
Lothering, inside Dane's Refuge.

Chanter's Board

Chanters' boards can be found outside the Chantries in the following locations:

The Mages' Collective

The Mages' bags are in the following locations:

Denerim Market District, in the alley between Wade's Emporium and Goldanna's House.
Redcliffe Village, On the docks; past Dwyn's Home on the right.
Lake Calenhad Docks, in front of The Spoiled Princess inn.

Favors for Certain Interested Parties

The only location for this board is with the Bartender at the Gnawed Noble Tavern in the Denerim Market District.

Merchants' Guild

Main article: Merchants' Guild Board

Located in the City of Amaranthine during the events of Awakening.

Blight Orfans Notis Board

Main article: Blight Orfans Notis Bord

Located in the Crown and Lion during the events of Awakening.

Vigil's Keep

The Private handles the Warden-Commander's messages in a board-like manner.

Notes

After completing certain quests on the boards, it pays to occasionally revisit them as new quests will appear.
Doing enough of these quests can give achievements.

Bug! If the player completes multiple quest board quests and turns them all in at once, the player may only receive the reward for the last one listed in the journal. ^{[confirmation needed]} This bug is known to affect the Chanter's Board, the Blackstone Irregulars, and The Mages' Collective. Workarounds would be

doing one quest after the other per organization and turning each one in before accepting the next one (not possible for the Blackstone's quests in Lothering, if inbetween completing one of the main quests)
turning each done quest in right after completion, before finishing another quest from the same organization (needs attention for the conditions of accepted quests and doesn't work for quests with random encounters)
use the console to grant the missing XP and gold
