Proving Steel is a broadsword and main hand weapon for the rogue class in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

Acquisition

• During the quest In Entropy's Grasp, in a map-marked chest in the Floating Archive Temple.
• In a small chest at the area to the southeast of the Converged City where the champion (Sirin the Twice-Forged) is fought during Into the Crossroads. The chest is hidden by blight in the original cyst the champion was in.
• Sold by Clara in Lavendel village in the Hossberg Wetlands.
• Lords of Fortune Faction Shop: Rank 2
• During the quest The Siege of Weisshaupt, in a map-marked chest in the east section of the Bell Tower Ruins.

Note

• The second ability of this weapon is triggered only by charged melee attacks, and not by charged bow attacks.
