Primeval Lyrium Rune is a weapon rune in Dragon Age II. It increases the attack speed of the weapon which it's applied to. The exact amount of the increase depends on the quality of the weapon (values up to 39% have been reported). The rune is unique.
Acquisition
- The rune can only be obtained by giving the Lyrium idol shard to Sandal during the quest Haunted (Act 3).
Trivia
- In Dragon Age: The World of Thedas Volume 1, it is clarified that the official name of this type of lyrium is "red lyrium". This is further supported by Dragon Age: Inquisition.
