Preserved Gurn Hide is a companion armor specific to Emmrich Volkarin in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

Acquisition

• Mourn Watch Faction Shop: Rank 4
• In a map-marked chest in Necropolis Halls' Cascades outdoor section, in the north. It's accessible anytime on subsequent visits after Emmrich Volkarin has been recruited/completed Where the Dead Must Go. This chest requires a bit of maneuvering around the outer ledges and using Harding's ability along the southern area to then access an outcropping with a coffin and a ladder. From here, use Spite's Reach to get across and carefully jump to the beam on the right, then the one below that, and then the area below to reach this chest. Note also this chest is booby trapped and will release a poisonous gas.

Notes

• This armor can attain a maximum rarity of epic prior to the point of no return.
• After the point of no return, it is possible to purchase another instance, enabling legendary rarity to be attained. However, the stats at legendary rarity are identical to those at epic rarity for the same workshop upgrade level.
