Involvement[]
Pierren is a respected noble. Lady Eustace Richelieu, a matchmaker, wishes to arrange his marriage to Celeste Thibault, despite the considerable age difference and her wish to marry Jecin Leandre, believing it to be more profitable.
If the Inquisitor refuses to get involved:
Celeste Thibault and Jecin Leandre are killed when fighting breaks out between the desRosiers and Leandre families over the match. Lady Richelieu and Lord desRosiers can be found on the Upper Level of the Summer Bazaar in Val Royeaux, oblivious to Celeste's fate.
If the Inquisitor helps Celeste and Jecin elope:

If the Inquisitor helps Lady Richelieu arrange the marriage between Celeste and Lord desRosiers:
The Inquisitor can choose to attend the wedding ceremony, which is held on the Upper Level of the Summer Bazaar in Val Royeaux. Lady Richelieu will also be in attendance and she is surprised to find the Inquisitor attendance. Celeste questions whether they must do this; Lord Pierren tells her that it's for the families. When he sees that the Inquisitor is attending his wedding, Pierren says that he couldn't ask for more and welcomes them to speak at his wedding. Celeste tells Pierren to get it over with. The Inquisitor can bless the proceedings, either telling them to find purpose in duty or to marry for duty and love in secret. If the former, Lady Richelieu hints that she wishes to offer guidance, if not more, to Lady Celeste at court, but is told to shut up by the new bride. If the latter, Lady Celeste plans to reunite with Jecin as her lover, with the blessing of her new husband. Pierren says a standard arrangement and that he sees no reason to hold her youth hostage but he says that the idea was of Celeste. Lady Richelieu is not particularly pleased by this course of action. In either case, Lady Richelieu thanks the Inquisitor for coming to the wedding.
