Lord Viscount Perrin Threnhold was the despotic Viscount of Kirkwall before his death at the hands of the city's templars. He was slain "for the good of all", supposedly due to his tyranny. Rumours persist about his death, however, and it did not go unnoticed that he was executed only after he attempted to have the templars expelled from his city. He was succeeded by Marlowe Dumar, who rules at the tolerance of the Kirkwall templars.
