Changes: Party Storage Chest

The Party Storage Chest is a unique container that can be used to store party items. In Dragon Age: Origins it requires the Warden's Keep DLC and can be found at Soldier's Peak.

The chest does not appear until you finish the quest Soldier's Peak and leave the area. When you return, it can be found next to Levi Dryden's new shop. It has an item limit of 96.

Notes

In Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening a party storage chest is located in Vigil's Keep - Throne Room. The contents of the chest at Soldier's Peak are not automatically imported to Awakening.

Bugs

ps3xbox360Some weapons and armor that are left in the chest will be re-scaled (see Material) to the Warden's current level. This can be used to "upgrade" weapons and armor picked up early in the game. This will only occur with items that have multi-tier versions; some unique pieces/sets only have one version. Low-level Wardens should be cautious when placing unusable (due to stat requirement) items in the chest, as this re-scaling can also "downgrade" them.
