Partners in a Dangerous Crime is a side quest in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
Acquisition[]
This quest is obtained by speaking to Chance after completing Bloodbath.
Walkthrough[]
Still on the trail of a Crow and a Venatori, the team finally discovers the mysterious spies' true loyalties.
Find the spies' gondola[]
Follow the quest marker or fast travel to the Streets of Coin Financials district, proceed east and cross a bridge. A small party of Venatori accuse the team of being involved with the traitor and a fight ensues. After clearing the Venatori, continue north and down the steps to the dock to read a note.
Search for clues[]
Follow the quest marker or fast travel to the Grande Markets. Investigate the notes on the ground slightly west of the Nutrition Specialist merchant. Continue following the clue trail north into the market. The trail leads to a door by the Qunari merchant where a note can be read, providing a clue on how to unlock the door.
Solve the brazier puzzle[]
Using the candles as a guide, light the braziers in order from one to four. The first brazier is by the street performer. The second is directly across from the first brazier by the Market Master. The third brazier is down the alley to the north. The final brazier is the one right in front of the locked door. Enter the room and investigate to find the next clue.
Search the lover's next meeting spot[]
Follow the quest marker west to Cafe Pietra. Approach the cafe counter and read the note on the ground. Rook will conclude a choice must be made to either warn the couple or notify Chance.
Decide the couple's fate[]
Rook and the team can either return to the room unlocked by the brazier puzzle to leave a note before reporting to Chance, or directly return to the Cantori Diamond to make their report to turn the couple in. Either way, the quest will be completed.

Thanks to a warning left by the team, the Crow and Venatori lovers have successfully fled Treviso to start a new life together.
