The Palace District is one of the major districts of Denerim. The district itself is a large collection of fortifications and battlements which conceal the immense accommodations within. It is located to the east of Fort Drakon and south west of the Fereldan Royal Palace from which the district takes its name.

During the final battle of the Fifth Blight, the Warden and companions must battle their way through the Palace District which has fallen to the Darkspawn in order to reach Fort Drakon.

The Darkspawn Chronicles
During the Assault on the Palace main quest of The Darkspawn Chronicles, the Hurlock Vanguard leads an attack on the Denerim Palace District. The Darkspawn horde must carve a path through fierce resistance in order to provide aid to the Darkspawn already at Fort Drakon.
