Ostwick is a city-state in the Free Marches; it is ruled by a teyrn[1] and high-ranking nobles, titled as banns,[2] mimicking the Fereldan form of noble address.
History[]
In 7:56 Storm during the Third March of the New Exalted Marches, the Qunari landed a number of ships near Ostwick. From there they launched an offensive against the Free Marcher cities of Starkhaven and Kirkwall.[3][4]
The Qunari invasion prompted the residents of Ostwick to build double walls around their city, for which Ostwick is now famous.[5]
Involvement[]
If the Inquisitor is a human, they are a member of House Trevelyan from Ostwick.
