Acquisition[]
This quest is acquired automatically following the completion of A Warden's Best Friend, should Rook choose to help Minrathous instead of Treviso.
Walkthrough[]
Minrathous is being attacked by a dragon and is in dire need of aid.
Stop the dragon[]
On arrival in Minrathous, Rook finds the city in flames. Fight off the Venatori cultists and destroy the barrier crystals to get through to a zipline to the canals.
Neve Gallus and Tarquin are waiting in Dumat Plaza. Tarquin says the Venatori are attempting to take control of the city, and may have already reached the Archon's Palace. Neve says to forget about them; the team needs to ground the dragon to stop it from destroying the city, and Rook offers to try and get its attention.
After the cutscene, Neve rejoins the party and the team travels to Andoralis Grounds, fighting off groups of Venatori on the way. After defeating the last group of Venatori, Ghilan'nain appears with the dragon Seartooth Vyrantus. Ghilan'nain demands Rook hand over Solas' lyrium dagger; upon refusing, she will order the dragon to attack the party and retrieve the dagger.
The Icetalon is vulnerable to ice damage, and resistant to fire damage. During the fight, weakpoints will appear on the dragon's legs and head which are vulnerable to damage and deal high amounts of stagger when struck - these will be indicated by glowing purple areas. Once the stagger bar has filled completely, the dragon will lie prone on the ground, leaving its chest open as a weakpoint for attacks. Repeat this attack cycle while dodging its attacks as necessary until its health bar has depleted to roughly 75%, at which point Ghilan'nain will call off the dragon as it is needed elsewhere.
Rook and their companions leave for Treviso, which has been devastated by the Blight. They find Lucanis, Teia and Viago outside the Cantori Diamond. Lucanis tells them that the dragon rained ice on the city and spread blight in the canals, and that he will remain in Treviso to help with the recovery efforts.

Results[]
Minrathous has raised the alarm: A rampaging dragon has descended upon the city. Neve, concerned for her friends and her home, has gone on ahead to lend a hand.
The dragon attacking Minrathous has fled, on Ghilan'nain's command. Thanks to the team's efforts, disaster was averted. Treviso, on the other hand, suffered from the lack of assistance.
