Oak Branch is a staff in Dragon Age: Origins.

Acquisition Edit

Obtained from the Grand Oak by either killing him or giving him back his acorn. Once acquired, it allows passage through the magical barrier in the Nature of the Beast questline.

Note: Once you go through the magical barrier once using this staff, you do not need to keep it in your inventory.

Dragon Age RPG Edit

BioWare canon
The following characters, lore and events are non-canon in Dragon Age and exist only within the Dragon Age tabletop RPG.

In the Dragon Age (tabletop RPG), Oak Branch is available as a "permanent magic item" reward for player characters. This staff is one of the most powerful magic staffs available in the game.[1]

Said to have been harvested from a sentient tree in the Brecilian Forest, this quarterstaff feels warm to the touch and gives its wielder the sense that it’s alive, ever shifting and moving beneath the fingers.
