Description	The crossbow was confiscated from Veklar, a roast nug vendor. Veklar, after having been led on a merry chase by a particularly cunning nug, ended up accidentally shooting at--and putting out the eye of--Guard-Commander Aisden of the Warrior Caste.

This item is acquired by stealing from the Mines Commander in the Orzammar Commons; however, he is currently bugged and only provides common dwarven loot when pickpocketed.

Workaround

How to fix Nugbane so it appears in your game:

1. This requires that you have downloaded the toolset.
2. Open the toolset and then open the single player module (File > Manage Modules > Single Player). Click the creatures tab. Scroll down until you see, "A Paragon of Her Kind". Open the folder, find orz200ar_commons.
3. Open this folder, and scroll down to orz200cr_commander (Mines Commander). Right click this resource, and select "Open Local Copy". When the resource screen opens on the left, scroll down until you find inventory.
4. Click to open and select Nugbane you'll notice it is set to "Main", click on this and set it to "Not Equipped". Click Ok, and close the inventory screen.
5. Export without dependent resources.
6. Close the toolset (saving when prompted) and start up the game, load a save before Orzammar has been visited and travel there to steal your new prize.
