Changes: Notes on the Wastes

Notes on the Wastes is a side quest in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

A page was recovered from a log book that was apparently kept by someone studying old dwarven ruins. Perhaps there are additional pages to be found deeper in the Hissing Wastes.

Acquisition

Acquire any note to trigger the quest.

Walkthrough

There are eight notes to be found. Once found, they all appear in Codex entry: A Journal on Dwarven Ruins. Some of the locations are visited during another side quest, The Tomb of Fairel. The note locations are listed below in the order in which they appear in the codex:

Found using the Search function north-west of the Lonely Light landmark beneath the ocularum, down by a tree.
Found near the ruin south-west of The Canyon Camp (in the Venatori Camp, near Canyon Tomb)
Found in the Mountain Tomb. Inside the ruin that can be accessed from the ladder up above to the east of the Mountain Fortress Camp. Related quest The Tomb of Fairel.
Once you enter the Tomb of Fariel location to the far east of Sand Crags Camp, look in the corner of the pillars near the entrance on the right.
Found in The Oasis area north-west of The Canyon Camp, under a tree near the ruins. Ideally done when doing the quest Let's Slay the Beast.
Found to the east of the Sand Crags Camp among stone ruins in a crude circle. The note is behind a stone by a lootable dwarven jug.
Found south-west of the Sand Crags Camp, by the giant dwarven statue.
Found north-west of the Lonely Light landmark beneath the ocularum, by a tent on a table (just pick this one up manually and enjoy the chest nearby).
