Neriah was a Grey Warden mage who fought in the Second Blight.

Background

During the Second Blight, The Wardens met Zazikel in Starkhaven, luring him into what was supposed to be a trap. The Archdemon had somehow been aware of the assault, and the Wardens found themselves surrounded by darkspawn instead. During the Battle of Starkhaven, Neriah and her lover, fellow Grey Warden Corin, fought the Archdemon head-on while fighting a legion of darkspawn. To save Corin's life, Neriah thew herself in front of a darkspawn emissary's bolt. Her sacrifice was instrumental in ending the Blight, as Corin eventually killed the Archdemon.

Trivia

• Neriah's robes were originally displayed in the Circle of Magi in Antiva before being destroyed in a fire. A replica was made by First Enchanter Haramund of Starkhaven and given to Warden-Commander Dernheim of Weisshaupt.
