Mila is the young daughter of Holden, blacksmith to the Grey Wardens of Weisshaupt Fortress.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard[]
When Rook and company first infiltrate Weisshaupt Fortress, they soon after bump into Mila, who is hiding in the storage room. Mila explains to them that the fortress is under siege by darkspawn and that she has been searching for her father since the attack.
After saving Mila from incoming darkspawn, Rook inquires as to the location of Evka Ivo and Antoine, and Mila guides the team through a secret passage into the war room.
Mila continues her search for her father, occasionally coming across Rook along the way.
When Rook is looking to get to the library, only to find their path block, Mila releases a ladder, allowing for Rook and their companions to escape the darkspawn hoard. She follows them into the library, helping push against the door to barricade themselves inside. Inside, Mila is reunited with her father, who thanks Rook and says that he hopes his daughter wasn’t too much trouble. She, along with her father, Rook, and company, flee the sieged fortress via an eluvian.
After Weisshaupt's fall, she joins her father and what remains of the Grey Wardens in the Hossberg Wetlands, where she assists her father by taking orders from the people of Lavendel.
