Mihris is First of Keeper Thelhen of the Dalish clan, Virnehn. She appears to be about 20 years of age, with relatively fresh Vallaslin.
Involvement
After Ser Michel de Chevin kills several of Mihris' clanmates to free Celene, including Mihris' love, she fights him, but loses. Though Michel spares her, her lust for revenge doesn't fade.
The rest of her clan is annihilated by the ancient demon called Imshael, who possesses Mihris in return for revenge on Ser Michel. Mihris joins forces with Grand Duke Gaspard de Chalons also for the same purpose. Mihris tells Gaspard that she can lead his group to Celene through the eluvians. Mihris attempts to slay Michel when they first encounter Celene's entourage however she is disabled by Felassan's magic first. Mihris bitterly acquiesces to Gaspard's demands that she hold to the temporary truce he has agreed with Celene while they travel through the Eluvian network.
Once at the central chamber, as Gaspard and Ser Michel duel for the fate of Orlais, Lienne de Montsimmard secretly hexed Michel to make him falter. While Lienne weakens Michel, Mihris uses her magic to dampen the area to conceal Lienne's interference and to prevent Felassan from using his magic to assist them for fear of further weakening The Veil. After Briala kills Lienne, she deduced that Mihris' magic had strengthened considerably since they first met and realized that Imshael had possessed her. The demon was persuaded to leave her body after Felassan told it that "something bigger was coming" to Thedas. Mihris then aided Briala, who had stolen the keystone required to awaken the eluvians from Celene, by immobilizing the Empress, leaving her helpless as Briala claims the eluvians for the city elves of Orlais.
After exiting the Eluvians, Mihris requested the secret to the Eluvians from Briala, stating that they belonged to the Dalish. Briala told her that unless the Dalish agree to help the city elves and acknowledge them as their equals, she would not share the secret. Mihris agreed to pass along the offer of help to any Dalish clan she encounters, on the condition that they do not consort with demons, and departs.
