'''NOTE:''' While the Game was run by one player completely from start to finish through several playthroughs, the Meteor Metal Ore encounter ''never'' came about until the playthrough wherein the Warden's Keep Downloadable Content was purchased and installed. It is reasonable to therefore assume that the encounter comes with the DLC and ''only'' with the DLC -especially since nobody but the Smithy at Warden's Keep can forge the metal, anyway.

There is no specific road or location, even though it may appear to occur in the same place if you load an old save. However some players found that it occurs consistently if you travel between Honnleath and Flemeth's Hut.
