Merrill, An Apology is a companion quest in Dragon Age II.

During this quest Merrill will apologise for betraying Hawke in the Fade during the secondary quest, Night Terrors.

Acquisition

This quest becomes available after the completion of the secondary quest, Night Terrors, only if Merrill accompanied Hawke into the Fade.

Walkthrough

Travel to Merrill's Home in the Elven Alienage in Lowtown and speak with Merrill. She will apologise for giving in to the Pride Demon's proposition and, as a result, betraying Hawke.

• Merrill: friendship (+15) (confirmed)
  • Same if choosing Humorous, then Diplomatic

For choosing both Humorous responses:

• Merrill: rivalry (+5)

For choosing both Aggressive responses:

• Merrill: rivalry (+10)
