Merrill, An Apology is an Act 2 companion quest for Merrill in Dragon Age II.
Acquisition[]
This quest becomes available after the completion of the secondary quest, Night Terrors, if Merrill accompanied Hawke into the Fade.
Walkthrough[]
Travel to Merrill's Home at the Kirkwall Alienage in Lowtown and speak with her. She will apologize for giving in to Wryme's proposition and, as a result, betraying Hawke.

- Aggressive: No effect
For the second response:
- Diplomatic: Merrill: friendship (+10)

- This quest, along with all other "Night Terrors aftermath" quests, supersedes any other companion quests, aside from the initial "Visit" quests issued at the beginning of each Act. Merrill does not have such a "visit" quest, but she does have some Consoling Words if the requirements for that quest were met, before Mirror Image can be carried out.
