Marsa is a warrior and companion of the Legends Hero.

Background[]

Once a member of the Kirkwall City Guard, Marsa was either kicked out of the guard, or willingly left. If you ask her, she'll tell you the guard was becoming increasingly corrupt. Ask the guards of Kirkwall and they'll say she became violent and unstable.[1]

Involvement[]

Marsa becomes a companion of the Legends Hero at some point during the Hero's journey.

While investigating Lukesh's disappearance in Kirkwall, the Legends Hero is forced to bargain with either the Coterie or the Kirkwall City Guard in order to get leads regarding Lukesh's whereabouts. However, the Coterie demands the Hero's party take out some city guards not under their employ before they help the Hero. Alternatively, the Hero can elect to cull the Coterie's numbers and interrogate whoever is left to obtain the information they require.

If the Legends Hero decides to seek the help of the Kirkwall City Guard, Marsa will say that the Kirkwall guard is vile and corrupt; she refuses to work with them again. Marsa will leave the party and won't rejoin until their buisness in Kirkwall is over. Marsa can later be found outside the city, defending herself from Kirkwall guards seeking to kill her. The guards are eventually attacked by darkspawn from the the trees and the Legends Hero can let the guards die, which will please Marsa, or help the guards fight off the darkspawn, which will cause Marsa to be vexed that they helped them. If the guards are helped, then they quickly run off after the battle in order to not have to thank the Legends Hero or Marsa for their assistance.

If the Legends Hero elects to wage war on the Coterie, Marsa will run into a Kirkwall guard named Kedra, who she sees as a traitor and whom she has a hostile relationship with.
