“I am Lady Marcellette, court historian to Her Imperial Majesty.”
Lady Marcellette is a historian at the Orlesian court.
Background[]
Marcellette is the personal court historian to empress Celene Valmont I. She writes all of the records for the empress; her duties also include maintaining the royal library, documenting important meetings between officials and she is in charge of preserving historical texts.
Involvement[]
Marcellette can be encountered in the guest wing of the Winter Palace where she can be seen talking with two other guests. She came to the peace talks to report the proceedings, as this is the first meeting between Grand Duke Gaspard de Chalons and Empress Celene since their War of the Lions began.
If the Inquisitor elects to speak with Lady Marecellette, she will ask them if they are enjoying the ball and if it's their first presentation at court. The Inquisitor can further inquire about the records of the ball and the duties of a court historian. Marecellette explains that she chronicles all events for posterity, regardless of how the peace talks end up, her responsibility is to document all important moments in the empire's history.
