Lysette is a Templar who joins the reformed Inquisition after being rescued in the aftermath of The Breach.

Lysette is the daughter of a Denerim based cobbler. Reluctant to follow in his footsteps, she joined the Templars instead. As she was a new recruit, Lysette was not permitted to attend the conclave; as a result, she survived when The Breach occurred. After the Temple of Sacred Ashes was destroyed Lysette and her surviving comrades were besiged by demons, however they survived with the aid of the newly reformed Inquisition. Indebted to her rescuers Lysette joined the Inquisition immediately afterwards.

Lysette is found in the military camp outside Haven's gates, standing beside another soldier. She will converse with the Inquisitor if prompted but otherwise offers no services.

Dragon Age: Inquisition.

During Corypheus' assault on Haven, Lysette comes under attack by either Red Templars or Venatori just inside Haven's gates – the latter enemy faction depends on whether the Templars or Rebel Mages were sided with. If the Inquisitor does not help her fight off her assailants or takes too long in doing so she will die. If Lysette survives the destruction of Haven she will occasionally be seen wandering around Skyhold where she will thank the Inquisitor for saving her and if the Templars were recruited, for their actions at Therinfal Redoubt also.

  • Mattrin: "See reason, Lysette. We cannot stay here."
  • Lysette: "Why not?"
  • Mattrin: "Because we're Templars!"
  • Lysette: "What does that even mean anymore?"
    • "That we splinter and fight amongst ourselves instead of protecting the mages?" (until completion of The Threat Remains)
    • "That we declare our independence and march off to some hold, and do... nothing?" (between The Threat Remains and In Your Heart Shall Burn)
  • Mattrin: "Better that than stay here with this "Inquisition"."
  • Lysette: "You're awfully quick to dismiss the people who saved your life, Mattrin."
