The Lower Ruins are the lower section of the Brecilian Ruins, situated in the Brecilian Forest. Many ancient elven tombs lie within these catacombs. On the World map the location is labeled The Elven Tombs; however, as soon as the Warden enters the area the local map is renamed the Lower Ruins.

Notes[]
- To open all locked chests in the Lower Ruins a lockpicking score of 60 is required.
- The previous details that the Shade is an elven mother looking for her elven child is speculation. The Shade is in fact a human in ghost form, either by error of the developers or by design. However, the ghostly figure when the Warden first enters the Lower Ruins is an elf.
