Lorelei is the faction merchant for the Shadow Dragons in Minrathous.
Background[]
Lorelei is a city elf from the Denerim alienage. She was one of the elves sold by Loghain Mac Tir to the Tevinter Imperium during the Fifth Blight. She, along with many residents of the Denerim alienage, was shipped off to the Tevinter Imperium as a slave by the Magister Caladrius during the Unrest in the Alienage storyline. She is not encountered in Dragon Age: Origins but wears a carving of Denerim's Vhenadahl and refers to her assistant as "pup," in the style of Ferelden.
She was rescued by the Shadow Dragons during a rebellion they supported, and has not returned to Ferelden. Lorelei is now a fence for the Shadow Dragons in Minrathous.
Involvement[]
Dragon Age: The Veilguard[]
Loreli runs the Pawn Shop, which serves as a front for the Shadow Dragons' safehouse in Dock Town. She serves as the faction merchant for the Shadow Dragons throughout the game.
During the events of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, the cities of Minrathous and Treviso are attacked by dragons under the command of the elven gods Elgar'nan and Ghilan'nain. If Rook decided to save Treviso instead of Minrathous, the Venatori take over the city and use the opportunity to attack the Shadow Dragons, killing many of their members and those who aid them. During the quest A Shroud Over the Light, Rook discovers Lorelei is one of those lost in the attacks.
