Background[]
During the Fereldan Civil War, Lady Liza Packton was a supporter of Teyrn Loghain and she was rewarded, in return.
Involvement[]
She appears before the Warden-Commander during A Day In Court. She claims that the old Arl made some written promises to her. However, even if her papers are indeed legal, these lands belonged to Ser Derren, a noble who stood against Loghain. Ser Derren also implies that Lady Liza was involved in Howe's conspiracies in order to get his land. The Warden must decide whether or not to grant to her these lands.
If you give the land to Lady Liza or let Varel decide (he will give the land to Lady Liza), she will support you; otherwise, she will take part in A Brewing Conspiracy where she can be killed at Old Stark's Farm or at the Throne Room during the And You, Esmerelle? quest.
