Rosamund, born Lilette Montbelliard, was Divine of the Orlesian Chantry between 5:16 and 5:71 Exalted.
Background[]
Divine Rosamund was born as Lilette Montbelliard to the wealthy and noble Montbelliard family. She was one of many granddaughters of Queen Asha Campana of Antiva. Lilette was groomed from birth by Divine Hortensia II to become her successor. At the age of nineteen, she achieved the rank of Revered Mother. Shortly after, Divine Hortensia II died, and Lilette ascended to the Sunburst Throne, becoming the youngest Divine in history.[1][2]
In 5:65 Exalted, Divine Rosamund granted the status of Anointed to Clothilde of Crechy, a warrior renowned for defending the innocent. Clothilde had been protesting taxes on the poor set up by the Baron of Rosfort. She was arrested, but the Divine ordered her released before she could be executed.[3]
Records describe Rosamund as a "radiant beauty". She was featured in a large number of erotic art and literature which gained popularity among Orlesians.[4] The Knights-Divine took steps to eradicate this material or prevent it from reaching the Divine through other means. Allegedly, Rosamund remained unaware of the fact that she appeared in erotica.[2]
Divine Rosamund died after fifty-five years in power. She left a legacy as one of the most compassionate women to ever occupy the post.[5] She was succeeded by Amara III.

Trivia[]
- Rosamund was related to her successor, Divine Amara III, as she was a grandaughter of Queen Asha, while Amara was a sister of Alphonse Valmont[2] and thus a daughter of Lambert Valmont, an Orlesian captain who married one of the daughters of King Azar Adalberto Campana.[6] Queen Asha's blood runs through Orlesian royalty.[7]
- Rosamund is the only Divine of her name.[2]
