This article is about the song. For the DLC, see Leliana's Song. For the DLC album soundtrack, see Dragon Age: Origins - Soundtrack.

"Leliana's Song" is written by award-winning composer Inon Zur, and sung by singer-songwriter Aubrey Ashburn.

Upon returning to the party camp when the Warden has completed the Nature of the Beast quest, Leliana will start a conversation with them. She will explain how she feels about the presence of death all around and will refer to an Elven ballad sung at her mother's funeral.

The lyrics are found in a book entitled "In Uthenera", which can be obtained by opening the chest next to Lanaya in the Dalish camp the Brecilian Outskirts.

The elven version:

hahren na melana sahlin
emma ir abelas
souver'inan isala hamin
vhenan him dor'felas
in uthenera na revas

vir sulahn'nehn
vir dirthera
vir samahl la numin
vir 'lath sa'vunin'

The translation, from the codex:

elder your time is come
now I am filled with sorrow
weary eyes need resting
heart has become grey and slow
in waking sleep is freedom

we sing, rejoice
we tell the tales
we laugh and cry
we love one more day
