Last Rites is a side quest in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. This quest is available only if Rook chose to save Treviso instead of Minrathous.
Acquisition[]
This quest is obtained by reading the note marked with a yellow exclamation point on the notice board in Glandivalis Square, Dock Town after completing The Cobbled Swan Case.
Walkthrough[]
The Venatori have set up more ritual sites. The Team must take them down.
Destroy the Venatori ritual site[]
After reading the note on the board in Glandivalis Square, follow the quest marker south into the Wharf Crossing North area. A series of red crystals power a Venatori barrier. The first vulnerable crystal is tucked in an alcove behind breakable wooden planks. The next two crystals in the chain can be destroyed by ranged attacks. The second chain of crystals requires heading down the narrow alley on the western side of the area. The first vulnerable crystal can be destroyed by a ranged attack. The next crystal is on a platform under wooden scaffolding which can both be destroyed by ranged attacks. The last crystals can then be destroyed, dropping the barrier.
Approach the body on the platform and read the nearby note for the next clue.
Save the person in need[]
Follow the quest marker west to the Parthenius Main Docks area. A group of Venatori will attack the team upon arrival. After clearing the fight, continue further into the docks, heading slightly south. On the dock, a civilian is trapped in a Venatori crystal barrier. Walk onto the boat next to her and use the dagger (or Assan if Davrin is present) to drop the chained lumber. Break the crystal with a ranged attack, then the one on the boat and finally the one next to the trapped civilian.
Following the other chain, the vulnerable crystal can be found by heading north to the far end of the Parthenius Main Docks. Heading slightly west through the area full of breakable crates, proceed down to the dock and walk across the boat to the central dock. The vulnerable crystal can be found inside the shed. Destroy the other crystal on the central dock. Return to the shed and use the lever to open the gate to exit. Return to the civilian and destroy the final crystal.
Speak to the civilian to complete the quest. During this conversation they share important information that begins the quest The Tempered Soul, Everlasting.

Undeterred the Venatori continue to perform their rituals around Minrathous. The sites must be destroyed.
